My name is Emily and I am 26 years old from Essex, England. I am extremely passionate about breaking the Essex girl stereotype, having climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, run two London Marathons and completed Tough Mudder. I am also part of the I Am An Essex Girl campaign to remove Essex Girl from the Oxford Dictionary.
I have a passion for Charity work in my local community; I have been a volunteer Girlguiding leader as well as being a reading partner in schools in underprivileged areas in the City of London.
I also love to cook and have volunteered as a lead chef at my local homeless shelter in Southend-on-Sea, as well as visiting the elderly in local care homes knitting and making tea with the residents.
I love to enjoy the Essex countryside and am so proud to be from Essex 🙂
